With a hugely expressive voice and an arsenal of powerful songs, Martha Wainwright is a beguiling entertainer and a refreshingly different force in music.

The daughter of folk legends Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle and sister of the acclaimed Rufus, she burst onto the scene in 2002 and has since worked with and supported artists from Snow Patrol and Cyndi Lauper to Van Morrison and Sean Lennon.

Debuting at the Open Air Theatre, her set will include songs from her recent Edith Piaf record.
